Vienna is your quintessential small town. Rich in history, modern day Vienna features an active restaurant scene, tons of annual events such as the Halloween Parade, ViVa Vienna town fair, Oktoberfest, and summer concerts on the green. Vienna is also divided into two parts: The Town of Vienna, which incorporated in 1890, has its own government and real estate taxes, however, is still served by Fairfax County Public Schools. You can identify a Town of Vienna home if there’s a quadrant in the address: SE, SW, NE, NW or N or S. Anything outside of the town limits falls under the jurisdiction of Fairfax County. Vienna has a metro station with tons of parking.
